Our Work at JHSC
Camden County College is proud to be a partner at the Joint Health Science Center, and to provide access to health career training in Camden City. At the Joint Health Science Center, Camden County College offers courses that could lead to employment in Camden’s growing medical community, including:
- LPN to RN Program (NUR.AS)
- Practical Nursing NUR.CT
- CNA Certified Nurse Aid
Camden County College has partnered with the Rowan University/Rutgers-Camden Board of Governors to offer the exclusive Alzheimer’s Journey Coordinator Certificate Program:
The Alzheimer’s Journey Coordinator Certificate program provides the education and clinical training needed to assist caregivers to recognize, understand, and treat the symptoms of Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. More than 170,000 New Jersey residents are living with Alzheimer’s disease. This first-of-its-kind program consists of four courses offered part-time over three semesters. Students will also be placed in healthcare settings throughout southern New Jersey to complete 90 hours of fieldwork. Free tuition and related expenses provided to eligible New Jersey residents.
